This past November the Lord once again enabled us to fly to Israel to partake in the Encounters in the Land Conference and Tour. We had been there in May with the first tour and the Lord had moved mightily in supernatural encounters and signs and wonders.
At this conference and tour there was much opposition and plowing in the spirit but we saw the Lord move on people hearts and give the believers in Jerusalem a much needed refreshing and fresh hope. The believers in Israel are very scattered, not connecting with each other. During the personal prophetic times there were many words about the Lord beginning to join the body of Christ together there. You could see they were truly blessed by the speakers and ministry that was brought forth. One of the ladies emailed me saying,
“I look forward to seeing all of you again when you return. I can’t begin to tell you how much I was blessed during your last visit. I know many things in the spiritual realm were set in motion. I haven’t been the same since the meetings. I felt like the Holy Spirit came and just sat right down on me. He ministered to every need I had and didn’t leave out a thing. Since then, everything in my life seems to be accelerating so fast I can’t keep up with myself. I look the same, I think. But in my spirit, I am not the same.
Please give my thanks and love to everyone for all the seeds that were sown into our lives. Words cannot express my gratitude for the selfless manner in which all of you came to simply give of yourselves, and not expect anything in return. It was obvious you put us believers first on your agenda while in Jerusalem. May the Lord give you a hundredfold return for what you sowed into our lives.
Shabbat shalom and many blessings."
During the tour, the Lord spoke to us in many different ways. While climbing Masada, the Lord showed me as I was climbing and while the others that had reached the top were shouting down encouragements, saying “ You can do it”, “It’s not far”, that this was like the body of Christ. As we climb the mountains in our life, there are those who have gone on before us. That great cloud of witnesses and even those still here among us who are giving us encouragement, to keep going, not to stop. We can not do it on our own. The Lord has shown us that this last year. We would never have made it to where we are without the prayer and encouragement of our brothers and sisters at Frontline. We are not an island unto our selves. God has been showing us how much we need to be aligned, connected to the body of Christ. We do not have the whole picture and it is only as we are joined together that we “may grow up into Him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: from whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.” Eph 4;15b,16
That is one thing this church does, is love. From the first time that we attended, the Lord captivated us with His love which works through this body. May we endeavor to keep the bond of peace, esteeming each other as better than ourselves. It is this selfless love that will propel us into the next great move of God. It must be our foundation. We are truly blessed to be here and to be part of this family of believers.
